What is Naz Giving Day?
Naz Giving Day is Nazareth’s first-ever, college-wide, 24-hour fundraising event designed to inspire students, alumni, and friends to make a gift to the College, departments, or programs that are most meaningful to them. For 24 hours, we encourage the Nazareth community to come together and show its support. All gifts – no matter the size or designation – made on April 17, 2018, will count toward Naz Giving Day and help to unlock up to $200,000 in additional challenge dollars.
Why should I participate in Naz Giving Day?
When you give and when others give, big things happen.
That’s what Naz Giving Day is all about. It’s one day for the entire Nazareth community to join as one to make great things happen. And on Naz Giving Day, your gift has an even bigger impact, thanks to a number of generous challenge grants. Your contribution on April 17 shows the world the collective power of Flyer philanthropy!
How do I make a gift?

Besides making a gift, how can I help Nazareth?
Share the day: Help Nazareth spread the word by sharing your stories and images using hashtag #NazGivingDay. We will collect and share your posts, allowing givingday.naz.edu visitors to view constant updates by the Nazareth community.
Become an ambassador: Sign up at givingday.naz.edu. As an ambassador, you can share messages and create excitement about the day before and during the campaign. Spread awareness within your network using email or social posts and encourage others to join you in giving back to Nazareth College.
What are the Naz Giving Day Challenges?
Through their pledged gifts, a group of generous donors hope to increase the impact of support to our students on Naz Giving Day. Meeting their challenges unlocks up to $200,000 in additional grants.
How can I make my gift go even further?

Is my Naz Giving Day contribution tax deductible?
Nazareth College is an exempt organization, as described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, and you will receive an acknowledgment that will serve as a receipt.
Is my payment secure?
Absolutely. Your payment is securely processed by PayPal. The information collected during Naz Giving Day is only used by Nazareth College, and it will not be sold or shared with any third-party organizations. Your credit card information will not be stored.
What if I want to make a gift before #NazGivingDay?
Can’t wait until April 17 to make your gift? Click here to make a gift today. Your contribution will be added to our #NazGivingDay totals.
What if I do not see a designation for the department or program I want to support?
If you do not see the department or program for which you are looking, you may select "other" under "Area of Giving." Then select "other" under "Fund Designation" and indicate your intentions in the box that appears.
How do I make sure my gift counts toward the Senior Class Gift?
To make a gift to the Senior Class Gift, select "Senior Gift 2018" under "Area of Giving." If you want to designate your gift, select "other" and indicate your designation in the box that appears.
Can I make a recurring gift?
Unfortunately, we cannot accept recurring gifts on the Naz Giving Day site. Should you wish to make a recurring gift, please call or email Katie Mahoney Krenzer at 585-389-2413 or kmahone3@naz.edu. Your recurring gift will count toward the Naz Giving Day totals and challenge.
