- Callahan Reading Clinic – Elementary and secondary students, as well as adults from the community, may receive support in learning to read and write at the clinic on Nazareth's campus.
- Life Prep @ Naz – LifePrep is an innovative program designed to provide students with intellectual and developmental disabilities with a college experience, strengthening their life skills, vocational skills, self-sufficiency, and independence.
Health & Human Services Programming
Nazareth’s unique constellation of health and human services academic programs and clinics in our state-of-the-art facility provide an outstanding hands-on learning environment. Students working under the supervision of certified/licensed clinical educators provide thousands of hours of services for children and adults each year in a wide array of clinics. Clinic services help to meet healthcare needs that may not be covered by insurance.
York Wellness & Rehabilitation Institute–The York Institute is the umbrella for clinical education where students develop their skills during more than 15,000 visits to Nazareth’s on-campus clinics. Learn more on our website.
- Art Therapy Clinic – Art therapy is a mental health profession that uses creative visual expression to expand self-awareness, resolve conflicts, develop interpersonal skills, manage behavior, reduce stress, increase self-esteem, and achieve insight.
- Children's Mental Health Clinic– Mental health services for children and youth.
- The Play Therapy Center specializes in working with children 3-10 who have experienced trauma or distressing life events.
- The Youth Anxiety Center offers group counseling and group sessions for middle schoolers (ages 11-14) and high schoolers (ages 15-17) for adolescents experiencing challenges related to anxiety.
- Music Therapy Clinic – Music therapy uses music in the context of a therapeutic relationship to address the physical, communication, emotional, cognitive, and social needs of people of all ages.
- Neurogenic Communication & Cognition Clinic (NC3) – Provides evaluation and treatment services for adults with acquired neurological disorders, such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, and dementia.
- Occupational Therapy Clinic – Client-centered services to improve daily living skills and independence for individuals across the lifespan with physical, cognitive, and developmental challenges.
- Physical Therapy Clinic – Students under the supervision of faculty and community therapists examine, evaluate, treat, and educate patients and their families to develop improved functional mobility for patients with musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions.
- Speech-Language-Hearing Clinics – Evaluation and treatment services for early intervention, preschool, and school-aged clients in the areas of articulation/phonology, feeding and swallowing, fluency/stuttering, language, literacy, social communication, and voice. Offers hearing screenings off campus and audiological evaluations on campus for children and adults (8+), as well as individual and group sessions for adults who use hearing aids and/or cochlear implants.
