What is Naz Giving Day?

Naz Giving Day is a community-wide, 24-hour fundraising event designed to inspire alumni, parents, students, faculty and staff, and friends to make a gift to the University, departments, or programs that are most meaningful to them. For 24 hours, we encourage the Nazareth community to come together and show support. All gifts – no matter the size or designation – made on March 14, 2024, will count toward Naz Giving Day. 

Why should I participate in Naz Giving Day?

When you give and when others give, big things happen.

That’s what Naz Giving Day is all about. It’s one day for the entire Nazareth community to join as one to make great things happen. And on Naz Giving Day, your gift has an even bigger impact, thanks to generous challenge grants. Your contribution on March 14 shows the world the collective power of Flyer philanthropy!

Share the day: Help Nazareth spread the word by sharing your stories and images using the hashtag #NazGivingDay. We will collect and share your posts throughout the day!

What are the Naz Giving Day challenges?

Through their pledged gifts, a group of generous donors hope to increase the impact of support to our students on Naz Giving Day. This year, donors have committed to adding more than $300,000 to be unlocked when we meet milestones throughout Naz Giving Day!

How can I make my gift go even further?

Can I make a recurring gift?

Unfortunately, we cannot accept recurring gifts on the Naz Giving Day site. Should you wish to make a recurring gift, please contact us for more details at or by phone at 585-389-2415.

Is my payment secure?

Absolutely. Your payment is securely processed by PayPal. The information collected during Naz Giving Day is only used by Nazareth University, and it will not be sold or shared with any third-party organizations. Your credit card information will not be stored.

Is my gift tax-deductible?

Nazareth University is an exempt organization, as described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, and you will receive an acknowledgment that will serve as a receipt.

How is my gift spent?

Nazareth allocates 100% of your gift to the designation you choose.

What if I don't see the department or program I want to support listed under "Area of Giving?" 

If you do not see the department or program for which you are looking, you may select "other" under "Area of Giving." Then select "other" under "Fund Designation" and indicate your intentions in the box that appears. 

Which email address should I use?

Please use your own email address (if you are a student, faculty, or staff please use your Nazareth email). Your Naz Giving Day receipt will be sent to the email provided once your gift is successfully processed.
